Different Type Of Genre In Music

When it comes to music, I can say that I have quite a taste. To be interested in just one genre is almost impossible. So in this post I will separate all the wonderful different genre that we have in this world and hopefully by the end of it you guys can decide which one is your favourite genre. Do feel free to write on the comment box regarding which genre did you choose and feel free to state the reason why. Rock

It is very cliché of me but my first introduction to music in actually through rock music. Maybe since it is very famous among teenagers of my days, and the fact of its simplicity that makes it very easy to connect with. One of the reason why I was interested in listening to this particular genre of music is because of the guitar solo that they have. Song such as Fade to black by Metallica contain a lot of amazing guitar solo which are very memorable. 

Apart from that, what rock music is that it connect people with their adrenaline. I am not sure whether it is just me but by listening to this genre of music you will tend to get high on your level of adrenaline. Since it is effecting us in that way, rock music will have its own uniqueness in term of its quality and the way it present the music. For example, each song will have a solo that represent the type of era in that particular time.

Pop

Another genre that I am interested in is the genre pop or popular music as you might call it. Pop music is based upon a soul music and more to a fast tempo style of music. As you might know our king of pop Michael Jackson took the genre and revolutionise the whole idea and take it to another level. Michael Jackson added more and instead of just having the music concert, MJ have turn it into a real show where music and dancing both combine into creating a masterpiece. Just like any other song, in his song he will tend to create a series of story. Here are some of MJ’s song which represent the genre pop very well.

R&B

During this era, R&B is everywhere. As you may know R&B actually stands for Rhythm and Blues. And as of today, it is very popular among teenagers. The main attraction for this genre is its own unique bass drop. One of the best example that you can get is in youtube is Conor Maynard which is a cover artist.
